Happy Independence Day and 4th July USA.
My wish is that this will be an awesome and great Monday.
Commemorating important milestones and events provide reminders that countries and people do not necessarily need others to determine their destinies and future. This does not negate the rule of law but highlights the need for laws that are applicable to a particular situation. Independence means that individual people and national wealth should not enrich other nations to their own detriment
One responsibility of parents is to train children to become responsible and independent citizens of their country. This involves preparing the children to make meaningful contributions to society and for these children to recognize that a point in the future they will be the leaders and elders in society.
Our present generation of children need to recognize that at some point in the future there will be a collapse of society and the need to begin all over again. There are at present hints of this and also rumblings as elements in society seek to make mockery of the heroes of the past and to discredit their achievements and contributions. The irony of this being that these persons are willing to destroy and discredit but has nothing meaningful to contribute to society. These are the persons whose death evoke no remorse but rather a sigh of relief. Unfortunately these persons continue to destabilize an already shaky foundation.
Historians it appear were more interested in glamour than facts and even at present there are so many versions of events that it is probably that the truth will never be discovered. Historians glamorize the facts and suppress the truth for so long that now the truth is regarded as a lie. It is the suppressing of the truth that surround the facts that will eventually be the downfall of society. There will not be any learning from the past if the truth surrounding the facts are hidden.
Our celebrations of important milestones are reminiscent of programs on television where sometimes years, months, days or hours of filming is done and then the process of editing takes place to present a one or two hour program. In this again the truth behind the facts is not disclosed so a glamorized version of facts is presented.
We live in a world that embrace the concept that a dirty win is better than a gracious loss. Our world highlights winners and it is through winning that one becomes independent. The weak has a dependency syndrome while the independent desire to make it on his own.
