That careless Big Bang
Our universe was born about 13.7 billion years ago in a
massive expansion that blew space up like a massive balloon. The earth itself was
formed about 4.6 billion years ago and it is about one third the age of the
universe.
Ever since I was a child I have heard stories about Flying
Saucers and as we get modernized and more scientific we now speak of
Unidentified Flying Objects. Although there are an estimated 700 million trillion
planets in our known universe the earth remain special probably because on the earth have
evolved or appeared human and other forms of life.
Our scientist tell us that human first evolved some 66 million
years ago and that present modern man appeared some 200,000 years ago. Civilization as we
know it started about 6000 years ago.
One big question that remain not fully answered is whether
there are other intelligent forms of life in the universe. The big bang that
birth the universe was self-defeating if it occurred and the only form of life
exist on the earth. Suppose other forms of life evolved on other planets and
these life forms are more intelligent than human and are capable of
interplanetary travel? So far human appear not to have been disturbed by visiting aliens but suppose
the UFO’s are visitors from other planets that are observing man. Should we
befriend these aliens and seek to learn from them or should we fear that one day
they may invade planet earth? The treatment that some nations have meted out to other nations is enough for these nations to worry about being enslaved to some superior life form. Why these aliens would want to invade the earth is uncertain. Human presently believe that he is at the top and so does not relish the idea of any superior life form to himself.
Is it possible that there are more advanced and
sophisticated planets than the earth with more intelligent life forms? Would these more intelligent beings than humans care to associate with human? How would these aliens regard humans as they
observe the weapons of mass destruction developed by human?
It is interesting that human kind has enough weapon of mass
destruction to annihilate the entire human population. As usual a select few
have humans devised ways and plans to survive such a scenario. Still it is beyond reason why
these select few humans would want the task of repopulating the earth. What these
persons are really concerned about is preserving their material wealth but if
the earth’s population is annihilated then wealth will essentially be useless.
Life itself is about peaks and valleys. The conditions at
the peak is not conducive to prolonged exposure especially at high altitudes.
Valleys are fertile and this is one reason that many live in the valleys. Life's pattern is striving to get to the top peak only to get to the peak and realize that life is not sustainable at the peak, so
descent to the valley and start all over again which is striving to get to the peak.
As children many of us read Aesop’s fables, Greek mythology,
recited nursery rhymes, and memorized common English proverbs among others. This has now allowed us to view our world with
different eyes as we look on countries that have peaked in terms of
sophistication and being tired of being politically correct are resorting to
buffoonery.
Probably even more ironic is the fact that behind the scenes
are those who control the visible buffoons. Our civilization as we know it is some 6000
years old and we as humans can’t work out how to live side by side peacefully. Instead we are now
talking about waging war in space as countries seek to deter each other from
making hostile moves.
It is not far fetched though that the real idea is to protect
the earth from alien invasion. In the end anyone who believe the idea of the universe
coming into existence with a bang also deserve the buffoons that are being
elected to high office.
Somehow the bang that gave us buffoons must be offsetting in another sphere with balancing intelligence.

Reflecting on UFO's and aliens
“Untold hours are spent fighting simulated battles and resisting alien
invaders by the children of man, we present ourselves as the good guys and King
El Olam as the bad guys. With your help man have amassed enough weapons of mass
destruction to wipe out totally his kind many times over and it will be
interesting to see how the immortal ones fare against man’s weapons of mass
destruction. If King El Olam had amassed the type of weaponry that man has
amassed then maybe I would have submitted to him a long time ago.” (The Light Bearer responding to a question)
(Exert from my book “An Emperor
for the animals” published by Create Space 2014)
Humanity is entering a new phase
of its existence now that scientists are prepared to admit that other life
forms exist in the universe based on the fact that there are aliens here on the earth. There are a number of countries on the earth whose
defense system is so sophisticated that it would be suicidal for another
country to attack or invade. These countries are now being forced to come to
terms with the existence of alien life forms and are preparing defenses to
repel alien invasions.
Astronomers estimate that there
are observable approximately 100 billion galaxies in the universe and our galaxy
the Milky Way has about 300 billion stars. That is approximately 300,000,000,000,000,000,000
stars and each star is a sun to possibly one or more planets. Added to these
stars and planets are the countless asteroids, meteors comets among other
things in space. Humanity and science should accept that there was a mega
amount of material and a source of power that it has yet to discover that
caused the Big Bang. The stars, planets, comets, etc fell into place as a result of the Big Bang.
The Evolution Theory advances
that life began billions of years ago when life forming gases come together to
form molecules and this is the origin of life on the earth. We will take the
Evolution Theory to be true because based on such a theory the same thing could
have happened on other planets. If all the planets came into existence through
the same process then it is reasonable to assume that there are others planets that
will support life. If superior life forming gases were to begin the evolution
process on one of the other planets or their evolution process was superior to man’s
then we could possibly end up with aliens who are superior or more intelligent
than man.
Scientist are finally admitting that
UFO and aliens are real and have paid visits to the earth. However man have not so far
been able to visit any of the other planets so aliens having visited the earth have the advantage.
It is yet to be determined if these aliens are hostile or friendly in their endeavors but man is
making preparation to repel an alien attack. The atrocities that man have
heaped on his fellow man make him fear than aliens may do the same to him. It
is obvious that the aliens that visit the earth are more intelligent and
advanced that man because they have developed space crafts that take them to
earth while man is still trying to identify another habitable planet. This in itself is a big blow to the ego of man because he must believe that there is no greater power than himself.
The writers of the Bible identify
several living beings that belong to another realm such as Deities, angels, arch
angels, seraphim, cherubim, living beings, demons, evil spirits, the Devil.
Some of these beings operate here on the earth and some in the heavenly realms and display intelligence and personality.
Scientists may have a problem providing proof of the existence of these beings
because science is about taking what exists and providing possible explanations
as to how it came about. These beings exists, are alive, display personality but is not visible to the human eyes. This is why their existence is often denied.
There are some interesting
stories in the Bible and one is about an angel that destroyed 65,000 soldiers
in one night. Another story tell of the prophet Elijah being taken up to heaven
in a chariot of fire drawn by horses of fire. The Bible is a book that contains
a lot of information about wars and war strategies and the weapons that we read
about in the Bible are compatible with the weaponry that was current. This has
often caused me to wonder if the Deities in heaven were to take their cue from
man and develop weaponry in keeping with those invented by man how will man
survive a war with the Deities.
We are at a point in time where now that
there is proof of the existence of aliens more information need to be given by governments. Also some assurance need to be given because the
weapons that mankind have invented will serve well against mankind but what proof is there
that these weapons will deter or be effective against aliens? We have proof that the earth is being
visited by UFO’s and aliens so now may be a good time to inform the citizens of
the earth if these aliens are armed or are to be treated as friends if ever encountered.
It is obvious anyway that these
aliens are more advanced, brilliant and superior to man so why would they
decide to invade the earth? The Bible and Judaea/Christian belief give an
interesting answer.

Necessary yet ignored.
Our dietitian, our psychologist and our pastor should
each play vital roles in our life and yet most of us don't place any
value on any of the three.
Eating and drinking are two of the few pleasures that life offers
and life also allows us to consume the things that are pleasant and desirable to our
taste buds. The fatalist, however, declare that if we eat we are going to die and if we
don't eat we will just die a little earlier. Therefore, based on this it is better to
enjoy the eating the food while it is killing you so eat the food that you enjoy. Either way if
you don't eat then you will become malnourished and also likely develop stomach
ulcers. The icing on the cake is that if you eat you will develop disease as a
result of what you eat and if you don't eat then you will get sick and develop
disease from not being properly nourished. Those of us who have a balanced diet stand a good chance of dying before the other two.
In order to overcome these problems we turn to our
beloved dietitians. Our dietitians are regulated
healthcare professionals licensed to assess, diagnose, and treat nutritional
problems. The average person goes throughout their life time without ever once
consulting a dietitian and suffers no adverse consequences. We eat and drink
whatever we desire and the body takes care of the rest. It is only in the rare
case when there is a shortfall but more often over supply in nutrition then after a visit to the doctor
we visit our friendly dietitian. The hope is to prolong life in order to eat more food. One of the few things that I recall
from primary school is being taught to eat three times per day. Our stomachs
are very kind and more often than not send kindly reminders to ask why is
nothing coming there. Satisfying hunger and lack of energy or having
energy are enough incentives to eat food. Our friendly dietitian is most
welcome when there is a desire to prolong life especially when it is indulging
in eating that is threatening our death.
There are available countless
varieties of food and drinks to satisfy physical hunger but many fail to
recognize that the mind also need to be fed. As a child I often heard this quote
with reference to feeding the mind, "Garbage in, garbage out". There continues
the debate as to whether the mind and the spirit differ but the agreement is
that the mind need to be healthy and this lead to the reference to mental
health. One philosopher describe the spirit/mental capacity not functioning as comparable to a joint out of place.
Our physical bodies and our minds does not feed on the same food although it is true that some food can and will affect our mental health. The state of our minds quite often affects the state of our bodies. The body sometimes refuses to adsorb and eliminate food because of the state of the mind. One of the terrible things that the mind does is bringing on a feeling of despair and despondency. It is at such time that we need our Psychologist to assist with overcoming those problems that originate in the mind. The severity of the problem may involve our Psychologist referring us to a Psychiatrist for medication.
All around are things that motivate
and inspire and because this it is not definite what is the food that will
motivate and or inspire a person. The things that is certain is that the mind
need to be fed. Fortunately mental health issues does not arise from not
feeding the mind. Probably the most potent thing that any of us posses is our minds and our institutions of higher learning plays a vital role in training and developing the mind.
One of the greatest man to walk this earth recognized the value of God's laws, ordinances and commands and equated following these as being just as necessary in life as eating food to sustain life. Religious practices appeals to a part of the psyche that is hard to define and some of the happiest people to be found are those who practices religion. Religious practitioners defy the ordinary and what makes practical sense so they are hard to explain.
In ancient religious practices the priest approached God on behalf of the people and in turn deliver the messages from God to the people. Admittedly in our present reality most of us have pastors and not priests and the role of the pastor is difficult to explain because unlike the role of the priest the pastor appear to be more an abstract that operates in a vacuum.
Religion, however, connects the spirit with a superior authority and the role of the pastor becomes that teaching the how of connecting with the higher authority. Pastors also serve certain social and ceremonial functions and are seen in society as the persons closest to God.

Two Principles
Our world have become so overcrowded that new entrants are being encouraged to seek out niche market. The bigger problem is that there are too many people who does not have the desire to put in the necessary work and effort but somehow expect to reap big rewards for mediocre effort or reap immediate success. There are too many people whose greatest dream is to win a multi million jackpot by buying the lottery. Most persons if they win the lottery will in five years end up back where they initially begun.
It is a given principle of life that what is sown will be also what is reaped. The principle extends to the fact that sowing and reaping does not occur at the same times as it pertains to the same crop. There is a time span in between where growth and maturity takes place and then comes the time for harvest. The idea behind sowing is to reap an harvest and this implies reaping an amount that far exceed the amount that was initially sown. What ever is accumulated over time will most likely last a life time.
The principle of sowing and reaping is supported by another principle, he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly. Although the soil may be fertile where the crop is planted the reality is that there are limits and sometimes results will be determined not by the fertility of the soil but by the amount that was sown. Planting must take place at the right time and in accordance with whether it is for household use or as a commercial crop.
Our world is being overrun with those who are sowing very little but are expecting great rewards. In addition to this there are novices who are being given formulas by the experts that will guarantee that they never succeed. The novices are being asked to study the experts and based on what is learnt from the experts then give their best initially. This again will require time and effort but our world demands immediate results. Success need a foundation and fuel to sustain it and these are lacking then success soon become failure.
The overcrowding in our world is also leading to mental deficiencies to the point where failure is being rewarded. Mental toughness is being discouraged and shortcuts are created to success. Our world is now overcrowded with qualified people who are lacking in the knowledge that goes along with the qualification. People who now have the qualification must now get certification.
It is a given that children although they share the same mother and father are most times totally different from each other. Within the genes of a child may be displayed character traits from past generations. This is why it is important to teach and allow children independence. Unfortunately in a child's early years the child thinks in terms of pursuing a path that pleases parents and teachers. It is often later that the child sometimes begin to discover a natural leaning and sometimes this is not discovered until adulthood. The earlier that a child understand that what is conceived in the mind is possible will be the better for the child.
The principle of sowing and reaping and also that of sowing sparingly leading to reaping sparingly is a principle that should be taught to children. Children should be taught these principle and shown how these principle can be applied to the mind. The mind if it applies these principles will envision the limitless possibilities that life will offer or at the worst find that niche that although small will provide a life of endless possibilities

What Next?
After the goals have been accomplished, the dreams come true and the aspirations realized there often rises the question, what next? Was it worth the price? If I had to do the whole thing over what would I change?
Life is generous and our lives does not have to be relived in order to make changes but rather all that is needed is to proceed into the future while learning from our past. While our desire is to live a life free from errors, mistakes and regrets the reality is that we have no control over time, events and circumstances. This results in a guarantee that the stress factors in life by being outside our control along with the realities that life presents us with various options to ensure that we make errors and mistakes. Life is so generous that it presents many options of which only one can be taken and we are always left wondering, what if? Or uttering the words of regret, if only or asking what next?.
Sometimes we miss the obvious and so it was only very recently that it dawned on me that parents have a responsibility to make childhood such an exhilarating experience that our children actually look forward to becoming parents. Recently a young woman lamented that there was no man who was good enough for her to bear his child so she will not have a child. A couple proclaimed that they were waiting for financial independence before becoming parents because their children must have the best.
We are living in a world of selfishness where individuals become so obsessed with their goals, desires and pursuit that they become the focus of their lives. Children are seen as things that will disrupt goals, aims and aspirations. AS these are pursued one big question that is often asked is this, what is the purpose of my life? Have I a destiny? After my destiny is accomplished, what next?
We live in a world where telling a woman that she should aspire to become a wife and mother is considered demeaning and being disrespectful. Telling a man to pass on his genes is cause for ridicule and some even see as encouraging promiscuity. The reality of life is that it is the women who are equipped to bear children and children should never be seen as a burden. We shall soon be having an interesting situation if the ambitious and brilliant among the women leave child bearing and rearing to the "unambitious and unlearned" women. The time will come when after wealth, fame and luxury are amassed then the question rises, what purpose do these serve and also, what next?
Maybe there is some wisdom in some couples not having children because quite often children become products of their environment. It will be impossible for couples to pass on to children values that they do not posses or have learned. This contribute to the irony of present day relationships because many couples enter relationships based on factors determined by computers or based on sex appeal. We try to hide the terrible things about ourselves from a each other with the hope that by the time of discovery of these terrible traits we would have been too far gone to back out. we use the excuse that we want the best for our children so we are delaying when the truth is that we want to pursue our selfish motive and children will get in the way. The great thing is that beauty does not reflect values and when two people come together and each does not want their child to be a replica of themselves, what next?
Wealth and luxury are fantastic commodities but always being exposed to these makes them ordinary to those who are accustomed to having wealth and luxury. Wealth and luxury affords certain standard and expectations but there is a limit to what is conceived by man so when these limits are reached, what next? Life, I believe, observe events and laugh because one man has wealth and there is nothing for him to do with it except boast of his wealth, another man lives in poverty and desires wealth so as to meet his basic need. If a true assessment is done the wealthy man is often no more happier than the man who lives in poverty. Wealthy people have a longer life expectancy than poor people but the wealthy does not necessarily outlive the poor so, what next?
The future has been presenting some glorious prospects in that it is offering the the same prospects to all that its has been doling out in recent times. These prospects involve what happens in the future especially if we should die because now we face the possibility if we should die on being cremated our ashes may be used to fertilize the soil or left to lay around until by mistake it is thrown out with the garbage. This thought is rather pleasant as we see more and more people go this route and there is no reminder on anything of their ever having been on this earth. This leaves us desiring to find a way to achieve immortality but in the mean while we ask, what next?
